Does anyone know if I apply for VISA card and choose to buy something would they withdraw money form my bank account?
Also would I have another account where I could put my cash money into my credit card?
Another question if like after 1-3 weeks of using my credit card to buy something would i be able to hand them in cash to pay back?

I put a deposit down on an item which I never had in my possession. I tried to cancel the order, but the vendor is saying he was already charged for the sales tax and that if they refund that to me they will not get it back. So, they are saying they will refund the order only if I pay for the sales tax and a credit card charging fee.

We had our taxes done at H&R and got the refund immediatly on a debit card (mastercard) that they offered. The IRS website said that people who direct deposited will get the payments first and they will be direct deposited and everyone else will get a check in the mail later. So what will happen to my payment? I wonder if it will go onto that card. Anyone have any ideas?

Every time we get a credit card offer in the mail if we send the empty envelope back to the credit card company they have to pay for postage. If everyone did that it could accumulate into a lot of money for the post office away from credit card companies. Would that make any difference?
