I have very good Credit, my mother has horrible credit (Bankruptcy which caused Foreclosure). I want to help reestablish some credit. If i Co-Sign a Credit Card (even if it's just a small limit such as 0) and it's paid of every month will it increase her credit, my credit or both? Will it hurt my credit at all assuming there will be NO late payments or overdrafts etc.

Please also let me know how much expert knowledge you have on the subject.

Yes, I know co-signing is never a good idea, even with people you trust. I've heard lots of stories. But still the question remains, is my FICO score going to be affected just by signing even if I have capital to pay off the forfeiture?
