How will turning my mom's credit card into a joint account affect both our credit scores?

My score is mid-700's.
My mom's is mid-high 700's.

The card in question is in good standing with no late payments, credit line of 00. The account is around 8 years old. My current credit history length is about 18months and I have a total credit line of 00 at the moment. How will making this card as joint account affect both my mother and mine's credit score?
My mother's score is relatively low because she prefers to pay cash for everything.
I'm 20years old and am trying to get an 800+ credit score as soon as possible.

I have a 00 student loan balance (not a federal loan) at 7%. I have a Credit card offer for 5% until the balance is paid off. Do I transfer my student loan balance to the Credit Card, or will it have a negative affect on my FICO score? My score is 760 and I'm looking to buy my first house soon. I estimate the entire balance of the student loan (whether or not I make the transfer) will be paid off by February 2008.

Can I get an auto loan through Capital One with a 590 credit score?

I currently have a credit card with Capital One that has been in good standing for almost a year. My Experian credit score is 590. I have no accounts in bad standing. I have a student loan I am paying on. Another credit card with a balance of 0 which will be paid off at the end of this month. I was just wondering if Capital One works with people with lower credit scores? I know it would be a really high interest rate if they did. Thanks

Hey, I'm looking to establish credit for the first time (im 20). No credit history and im a full time student for now. I was wondering which one of these options would raise my credit score the most.

A a secured card with a checking account as collateral
B becoming an authorized user of my parents card (they have a score of like 790 or so and never miss payments)
C Opening a new joint account with my parents
D Trying to get a student credit card with whatever terms they give me (prob not good ones)

I saw a similar post which asked whether a student card or authorized user on parents card was better but people seemed to have mixed messages based on the "safety" of each scenario. I don't really care about which is more "safe" and pretend that in any scenario that I will make all payments on time in full for years to come. I just want to know which would build my credit score fastest.

My intuition is that being an authorized user on my parents card (I heard it still affects credit scores since FICO reneged on the 08 provision which would have eliminated that practice, though how much has changed I don't know) would be the best scenario since they have a massive credit limit, a great score, don't use it much, and haven't missed payments in 30 years, but I'm not completely sure whether the fact that I'm simply an authorized user would make it less beneficial than maybe a smaller limit secured card in my name only, or am I wrong? After hours....and hours.... of perusing credit websites I've established that all are good for credit but no one seems to be able to tell me how they COMPARE to one another in terms of building one's score.

Once again making payments and high interest rates will definitely not be an issue in any case since I won't use the card for much more than monthly bills and I have enough in my checking already to cover those for years. Appreciate your responses in advance!

we are trying to raise our credit score.... and are choosing to pay off our many amll credit cards.... wehn we do this , is it better to close the account or leave it open.... i dont want to have to much open credit... i do have some larger credit cards.... not sure what to do here

Why is my FICO score WAY lower than my credit scores from all 3 bureaus?

I just pulled my FICO for the first time today because I want to start applying for an auto loan. My FICO came back 684 and the average PLUS Scores from all of the bureaus is 734- Why is the difference so great? I'm scared my APR I qualify for is going to go through the roof!!!

What I want to know is whether adding my spouse to my credit cards and her adding me to her credit cards increase our FICO scores? We both never missed a payment and were always on time to all of our credit cards. Thank you for your help.
