I had a credit card and my identity was stolen. I filed an investigation with the credit bureaus and the credit card company sd I am not responsible for the charges/balance. I had been paying on the credit card because I wanted to protect my credit. Will I be able to get a refund for what I paid?

i'm gonna ask a few questions so please answer all of them not just one.everytime i post questions people only answer one.
ANSWER ALL OF THEM.
if your not gonna answer all of them then don't bother posting a answer...............................

i have a delinquent credit card account.it went delinquent in 2007.
that credit card that went delinquent was a credit card for people with bad credit & no credit.at first i thought i had bad credit so that's why i sign up for the card.but then my sister told me that i didn't have bad credit the problem was i had no credit.so she told me i had to build up credit.so anyways one of my questions is if i pay off my delinquent credit card account will that help my credit?
i only owe 8.00?
i don't really have money to pay it off.my sister was gonna help me pay it off.the credit card was really my fault.i couldn't make payment on time.i don't really know whats on my credit report but my sister ordered me my three credit reports so i have to wait until i get it through the mail to see what's on it.
every time i apply for mobile service i have to pay a huge deposit.
if i pay off my delinquent credit card account will that help my credit?
after paying it off will it be taken off my cedit reports?
as you can see i don't really know much about credit at all.
that's why i'm asking.
the creditor that has my delinquent account he keeps lying.my sister told him to send me a copy of the original debt to show how much i owe and what i will be paying.she ask him how much interest and he told her there's no interest.then she ask if she pays it off for me if he could contact the credit bureaus and have them take it off my credit report.he said yes but my sister ask him to send her that all in writting.he said yes.then she also ask to put the settlement we had in writting as well.but then a week later she got the letter but it didn't say anything my sister and the guy talked about.he only put that i have to pay the full 428.00 and thats all.it didn't say anything else.he's lying to us.what should we do?

It is common knowledge that somewhere between 60 to 75% of all credit reports have errors. If you are suffering from the inaccuracies your creditors have put on your credit report (and you probably are without even being aware of it), then credit repair is a great thing to do and you should do it.

Also, the law states that everything on your report must be one hundred percent accurate. Therefore, if you dispute something you do not believe to be 100% accurate, and the creditor fails to reply within a certain period of time allowed by law, the account will be wiped off that credit bureau’s report. But even if the creditor doesn’t respond to one credit reporting agency, that does not mean they didn’t respond to one of the other two. Still, your score likely went up with the bureau that the creditor didn’t respond to because the negative account was deleted. Clearly, that is a good thing for you.

So, if you just got off the phone with your lender and they told you that you are not approved, you need to generate credit repair letters to the credit bureaus and pay as much as you can on your credit cards. Ug. Sure, if you had 50 spare hours, you could do all that and figure it out. But no one has that much time when they are working hard to support a family! Or, maybe your lender told you that they cannot do your loan, but you can talk to XYZ credit repair company and for $1200 they will work on repairing your credit, but they can’t guarantee it will work!

There is a better alternative. CreditBlossom.com is a site that will enable you to create all your credit dispute letters in minutes and it is totally free to the public. If you want to do self credit repair, it is the best site to get it done with. I have seen it work for many of my clients. In fact, I’ve seen the old long-hand method of writing the credit dispute letters on your own work too, but this new resource can get just as good of results in much, much less time.
