I have a question regarding
auto loans.
Im a college student and need a car for commuting
both my parent's credit is ruined because of
short-sale of our house.
Im saving up for the down payment
and trying to get a loan at a dealership
but since i have no co-signer nor credit
will the "lender" dealership would find me
apply the high interest rate ( im willing to accept that I have to deal with high apr)
just on the loan amount after the down payment? or some random ridiculously high loan amount...
Because I heard from someone, no credit people get loans from like "payday" who would lend money at a ridiculously high rate. like 600%

please help..
My concern is will the
interest rate only be on the
amount i borrowed? or
some random amount...
I heard from people that those "no credit lenders" tend to do that..
I have gross income of about 00/month. from a job
I think I can pay the monthly fees/4yr plan

I have a 00 student loan balance (not a federal loan) at 7%. I have a Credit card offer for 5% until the balance is paid off. Do I transfer my student loan balance to the Credit Card, or will it have a negative affect on my FICO score? My score is 760 and I'm looking to buy my first house soon. I estimate the entire balance of the student loan (whether or not I make the transfer) will be paid off by February 2008.

Would it be a good idea to take out a student loan to pay my credit cards?
I owe almost ,000 in credit cards. I am slowly paying them off. I was thinking of taking out a ,000 loan to pay off my credit cars and get some work done for my car. Good idea or no?

I just pulled my FICO for the first time today because I want to start applying for an auto loan. My FICO came back 684 and the average PLUS Scores from all of the bureaus is 734- Why is the difference so great? I'm scared my APR I qualify for is going to go through the roof!!!
