Credit Cards For People With No Credit

I have 5 credit cards carrying a total balance of 00. I got a credit card offer for 0% on balance transfers until January 2009. Should I transfer 1 or 2 of the other cards balances to take advantage of the 0%? Or will it be worse for me to be opening another account? I was not planning on closing any of the credit card accounts, b/c i figure it would be better for my credit to have the older ones on there. Does this sound ok?

I see that on the Apple store they say that I can pay monthly with a Juniper Visa card, but I don't see any information that I can use any other credit card.

I have a Citibank Mastercard credit card. Would I be able to pay for my MacBook in monthly payments with my card?

Do American Express gift cards act as normal credit cards for online purchases?
As in, if there was something I wanted to buy online, could I use an American Express or Visa card to purchase it?

Or will it only work in-store?
