I am at the age of twenty, I have made some finacial mistakes and now I am paying for them with bad credit. I have convinced my dad to open a joint account credit card with me, however he decided to freeze the limit at 500. The joint account credit card should help my credit score alot, however I was wondering about the frozon credit limit, will that stop my score from rising sense my limit is not increasing

a motorcycle. About one month later he wrecked the bike, but had insurance, so he went back to the dealer and bought a new, I was told with the insurance money. The credit company said no that they refinanced another 95 onto the first loan, I never saw or heard a thing about this until now, when it is several months late. I told the Credit people I never co-signed for anymore $$$ and I was not responsible, they where. First, I would not co-sign for this person for anything close to that amount. Since then (2006) his high on the account was ,000.00, so he has made payments, recently, due to drinking, he is out of work and money. Any suggestions on how I should approach this one?

How to purchase a domain (with hosting) online, considering the fact that I have no credit card/paypal money?

Hi, and thank you for looking at my question.

Basically, I am looking to purchase a domain with hosting (online of course). The problem is, that I have no credit card (I am under 18 and don't have parental consent) + the fact that I have {content}.00 in my paypal (due to the foregoing reason). However, I really need to get a domain. Is there any possible way to raise just a little money into my paypal account without the use of credit card/bank transfer?

Or, by any little chance, would you kind souls like to invest in purchasing the domain for me(by transferring a little sum of money to my paypal)? I'm doing internet marketing with this domain I'm purchasing and am sure to rake in profits. Thus, be sure that I will return you the money lent with high interest on it. (please don't mark this as a violation, I'm just highly desperate...)

My third question : What would be a good site to purchase domain and hosting? From several sources I see that GoDaddy is extremely popular... As well as HostGator. My personal choice in mind is JustHost.com, recommended by a friend. It offers hosting with free domain, at merely .95 per month. May I ask the opinion of you people, which is the best provider?

Just to add, I'm Singaporean (Asian if you'd prefer in general), and I think the culture of parenting here is much different compared to that of the west. Simply said, my parents are strict and all and they refer to what I'm doing as 'a waste of time' and they would ask me to go study every time I mention this. This is the reason why 'I don't have parental consent'. And I was wondering if I could send cash over snail-mail....

So this is my first credit card I didn't want to be late on my payment but unfortunately my stupid bank screwed me over and i couldn't use my debit card to make a payment because of a overdraft fee. Anyway I am like going to be a day late now. I am trying to get really good credit in these 6months of me having a credit card, this is my first payment I was suppose to make which was due yesterday, so my question is will it ruin my credit?

Debt Collection Lawsuit – Beat the Debt Collector in Court

When dealing with a debt collection lawsuit you should keep in mind it is not a question of do you owe the credit but a question of can they prove that you have a debt? When any person commences a lawsuit it is up to them to furnish absolute proof of if the lawsuit alleges and with card debt it is virtually impossible to prove.

Collection lawsuits usually begin with a threat and that should be your wake-up call to put an end to the alleged debt once and for all in a court of law if it gets so far. If you supposedly owe $20,000 on a credit card it will be your chance to make $20,000 by eliminating it legally.

There are two things you will need to beat the collector before court. You must read Modern Money Mechanics and get it into your head that the bank did not loan you any money. When you have this information embedded in your memory you will get rid of "moral problems" beating the collector and you will understand why there is no proof.

The next thing you will have to do is the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act which will lay out detailed information about what you need to do to force the opposition to make actual proof that you owe money. If you perform such first steps correctly there will be little chance of a credit card lawsuit.

Young lawyers earn their money standing before a judge for hours receiving "default judgments" rubber stamped by a judge. Default judgment simply implies a collection letter was sent and there was no reply. No evidence, no answer to a collection letter and now the debt settlement attorney will own you.

You must answer these little collection notices in writing by registered mail with return receipt to save yourself from a default judgment. When lawyers see this demand for proof they as usual send the collection information back to wherever it was from because they understand they cannot win.

Collection attorneys as a rule get about $50 for sending you the collection letter then come to court and stand there for hours processing hundreds of letters as quick as he is able to hand them to the judge to be rubber stamped "guilty" because no one took the time to respond his notice in writing.

Occasionally several young attorney in desperate need of money to pay his student loan for law school will file a lawsuit. Attorneys cannot testify to the facts of the case. This means that you must demand a witness that has real knowledge of your alleged debt and that is not going to occur! You win!
