Can I buy them like at Walgreens and pay only what I have on the card? It is less riskier than using a personal debit card online, right? Can a minor purchase and use them?

Why don’t you buy a prepaid card from the music service you’re thinking of using? Buy an iTunes card if you want to use iTunes, it’s MUCH easier. As for those Green Dot cards or whatever, you’d have to look at the Terms of Service for them to see if a minor can use it. I don’t think so. Because they have to verify your identity, they will need your Social Security number, and they will find out you’re a minor. As for the safety of iTunes cards or that kind of thing, they are safe.
